Austin, TX – TMG announced today the acceleration and expansion of its Oracle Customer Cloud Service (CCS) Certification program for the utilities industry globally, achieving official accreditation and certification by Oracle Corporation of TMG’s 5th CCS Implementation Specialist. This is a significant milestone for TMG as the firm continues to demonstrate its Oracle Utilities products and solutions project delivery and professional services competency on a global scale. Today, TMG is working with six (6) utilities to implement Oracle CCS, with customer bases ranging from 40,000 to over 1M, that provide electric, gas, water, wastewater, and other services; and the company is fully on track working alongside Oracle to take the industry’s first three utility CIS programs fully to the Cloud with the Oracle CCS solution later in 2020 – another industry first!
This prestigious CCS Implementation Specialist Certification from Oracle Corp. has now been achieved by 4 TMG-Synersys professionals in Manila, Philippines, and one in North America, with several more anticipated in the near future. It underscores TMG’s expanding leadership commitment to expertly guide utilities to SaaS and Cloud solutions by providing hands-on relevance and knowledge of the latest cloud solution options and the permutations of the various solution deployment and support options available to utilities today.
An Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service 2020 Certified Implementation Specialist must pass a rigorous examination and demonstrate specialized knowledge required to implement and configure the CCS service, including Managing Customer Information and Financial Transactions, Billing, Managing Rates and Payments, Monitoring Overdue Debt, Devices & Measuring Components, Measurements, VEE, Usage, Fieldwork, and Service Order Management, and Operational Device Management.
“This is a significant milestone for TMG as we increasingly see utilities of all shapes and sizes investigating the cloud for their customer transformation programs, often with more questions than answers,” said Pam Glanvill – TMG’s President & Global Head of Professional Services. “TMG is pioneering the way utilities investigate, justify, and adopt the Cloud into their systems landscape, and we are leading the industry with TMG hands-on CCS cloud implementations underway at six utilities, with the first three slated to go live later this year. No other firm can make that claim in our industry.”
